
Club to salute 1984 Bomber team at July 22 game

WINNIPEG, MB â The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will pay tribute to the 1984 Grey Cup Champion Blue Bomber Team at its July 22 game against the British Columbia Lions.
The 20th Anniversary celebration begins with a pre-game party and autograph session in the South end zone from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The pre-game celebration will include the Grey Cup, which will be on display. Posters of the 1984 team will be distributed courtesy of Travel Manitoba.
The half-time of the July 22 game will be dedicated to the 1984 team, complete with player introductions and a video tribute. A post-game fireworks display is also part of the game-day happenings.
Players confirmed to be at the July 22 game include John Bonk, Pat Cantner, Bob Cameron, Trevor Kennerd, Willard Reaves, Ken Hailey, Rick House, Joe Poplawski, Sean Kehoe, Dan Huclack, Doug McIvor, Stan Mikawos, James Murphy, Kevin Neiles, Richard Nemeth, Frank Robinson, Donovan Rose, Brent Racette, Coach Cal Murphy, General Manager Paul Robson and present-day President & CEO Lyle Bauer.
