Toronto Argonauts News Release
Toronto â After reviewing all of the facts in its case against Toronto Argonauts' Guard Mike Mihelic, The Crown determined that it had no reasonable prospect of any conviction. As a result, The Crown withdrew the charges against Mike Mihelic on the basis of insufficient evidence.
Mihelic released the following statement: "I have always professed my innocence since the beginning. I have been scrutinized both personally and professionally for the last two years and I am glad the system has worked. Thanks to my attorney, JJ Burke, for all of his support and The Crown for reviewing the evidence and withdrawing the charges against me."
