
Autry Denson named CFL Offensive Player of the Week

Montreal, July 13, 2004 - Running back Autry Denson was named Canadian Football League Offensive Player of the Week.
Denson completely dominated in the Alouettes' 46-22 win over the Ottawa Renegades on Friday night. In his fourth CFL game, he scored his first four career touchdowns including three rushing TDs and one receiving touchdown. With those four touchdowns, Denson tied a team record.
Denson carried the ball 21 times for gains of 104 yards and caught two passes for 19 yards. He also returned a kickoff on 24 yards.
After spectacular Ezra Landry last week, a second Alouettes rookie was named CFL Player of the Week.
