Aberdeen, MD - Back to back nights of extra baseball ended in back to back losses for the Aberdeen IronBirds to the Brooklyn Cyclones. Aberdeen had the game winning run at third in the 9th, and the game tying run there in the 10th but came up short both times.

BIG MOMENTS

4th, 5th and 6th: Brooklyn scored a run in each of those innings to total three.

Bottom of the 5th: Aberdeen brought nine runners to the plate. Hits for Trey Truitt, Johnny Rizer and Joey Ortiz totalted a three hit, three run inning and made it a tie ball game through six.

Bottom of the 9th: With the game winning run at third, Irving Ortega was doubled up on a line drive to the shortstop to end the inning

Top of the 10th: The Cylones scored on an RBI single by Jose Medina and took a 4-3 lead.

Bottom of the 10th: Maverick Handley was hit by a pitch and loaded the bases for Lening Rodriguez. He grounded out to end the ballgame at a 4-3 loss.

This was the 7th one run game Aberdeen has played, they are 4-3 in such games.

A four game losing streak is the longest for the 'Birds all year.

Through 14 games, Aberdeen is 5-8 with another three game road trip ahead
