Troy, NY - On a steamy Friday in Upstate New York, Adam Stauffer stifled the Tri-City Valleycats offense in seven shutout innings. The 'Cats had just two hits, and the 'Birds chased them away to a 3-0 shutout win

BIG MOMENTS
2nd inning: Aberdeen got the only run that mattered on a two out double from Andrew Fregia.
4th inning: Two runs in the fame thanks to Maverick Handley's first professional hit, and three more after including another RBI for Fregia and one for Toby Welk.
Innings 1-7: The Stauffer show: he went seven nearly perfect innings, retired 10 in a row at one point and allowed just three baserunners all night.
The Save: Malachi Emond made his professional debut, and he was perfect. He struckout four and retired all six he saw to close out the win.

Through 13 games, Aberdeen is 6-8. The series with Tri-City continues tomorrow under RHP Leonardo Rodriguez.
