ABERDEEN, MD (June 27, 2019) - Jose Medina, Brian Metoyer, and Luis Silva banded together late to produce a 4-3 extra-innings victory for the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season Class A affiliate of the New York Mets, who swept the Aberdeen IronBirds in a three-game set at Ripken Stadium.

BIG MOMENTS
Jose Medina delivered a two-out RBI single to center field, giving Brooklyn a 4-3 lead in the top of the 10th inning.
Brian Metoyer escaped a bases-loaded jam in the ninth with the game tied 3-3, and Luis Silva straded the bases loaded in the 10th to preserve the victory.
Aberdeen plated three runs in the fifth highlighted by Johnny Rizer's RBI double and Joey Ortiz's run-scoring single against Dan Goggin.
Jake Ortega went 3-3 with an RBI, giving Brooklyn a 2-0 lead with a two-out hit in the fifth.
