
Clippers Sweep Texas Two-Step

FRISCO, TX - The Agua Caliente Clippers (11-4) swept a two-game trip against the Texas Legends (6-8) with a 127-111 victory Friday night in Frisco.
The Clippers took control early, but Feron Hunt fired off midway through the first with 7 straight points. Hunt finished the quarter with 14 and the Legends held a 30-28 edge. The momentum shifted just minutes into the second and the visitors went on a 23-4 fun to take the first double-digit lead of the game. Texas turned it around before the break but went into the locker room down 54-59.
Agua Caliente used a 12-point performance from Brandon Boston Jr. to control the third and never relinquished their lead, building to the largest of the night (+18) in the fourth. Both teams shot over 50% on the night with Texas leading the outside market 44% - 33%. With the win, the Clippers took a 2-0 lead on the season series with one California-based meeting remaining.
Hunt had a season-high 32 points to go with 8 rebounds, and 3 steals. Carlik Jones finished with 21 points, 4 rebounds, and 6 assists, and Olin Carter III added 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists.
Boston led the Clippers with 29 points, 4 assists, while Moses Wright tagged on 23 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists.
