Columbus squeaked by the Lynx to pull out a 5-4 win at Lynx Stadium. Clippers outfielder Brandon Watson extended his hit streak to 42 games, tying the International League record for longest hit streak set in 1912 by Jack Lelivelt.
The loss drops the Lynx record to 28-36 while Columbus improves to 31-37.

Lynx Player Of The Day: Lynx leadoff man Chris Roberson had two hits, including a home run, and scored twice to pace the Ottawa offence.
Game Recap: Columbus struck first with a run in the top of the second inning off Lynx starter Eude Brito. The Lynx came back with a pair of runs in the bottom of the third inning to take a 2-1 lead. Pitcher Eude Brito reached on an infield single before Chris Roberson deposited a pitch over the right field fence to put the Lynx on top. Columbus replied immediately with three runs in the top of the fourth inning. Ottawa came back with another pair in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the game. Carlos Leon got things started with a bunt single, moving to third on Chris Roberson's double. Joe Thurston brought Roberson home with a sacrifice fly and Gary Burnham knotted the game with an RBI single to score Roberson. But the Clippers would take the lead for good in the top of the seventh. Columbus outfielder Brandon Watson had two hits, extending his hit streak to 42 games, tying the International League record for longest hit streak, set in 1912 by Jack Lelivelt. Final Score: Clippers 5, Lynx 4.
