ONTARIO, Calif. - The Agua Caliente Clippers (4-5) fall to the Santa Cruz Warriors (5-5), 106-97, on Sunday night.
In an evenly matched contest, Santa Cruz gained a double-digit advantage late in the ballgame. Agua Caliente responded, with a James Palmer Jr. three-pointer cutting the Warriors' lead to 104-97, but the Clippers would run out of gas.
Five Clippers scored in double-figures, led by James Palmer Jr.'s game-high 23 points on an efficient 10-of-13 shooting from the field. LA Clippers assignee Mfiondu Kabengele added a huge double-double of 15 points and a team season-high 19 rebounds.
Santa Cruz was led in the scoring column by Devyn Marble's 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting form the field. Six Warriors scored double digit points in their victory.
The Clippers return to the hardwood on Thursday, December 5th, to host the Windy City Bulls. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. PST inside the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif.
