Clippers' 23 Three Pointers Lead Them Past Wolves 146-108

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Clippers (12-13) defeat the Iowa Wolves (6-18), 146-108, Thursday evening on the second game of back-to-back matchups against the Wolves.

After a 27-point victory against these same Wolves just three days prior, the Clippers picked up right where they left off, ending the first quarter on a 13-2 run, taking a 34-25 lead. The Clippers carried over the first quarter momentum, outscoring the Wolves 42-30 in the second quarter. They built their lead to as many as 24 before taking the 76-55 lead into halftime. Jordan Miller's 19 first half points spearheaded the early lead for the Clippers. During the third quarter, Clippers' guard Josh Primo scored 14 points on four of-five three-point shooting. The Clippers would balloon their lead to as many as 42 during the fourth quarter leading to their 146-108 victory.

After setting a season high in scoring in their previous outing, the Clippers once again set a new season high, scoring 146 points. The Clippers' efficient offense was on display, shooting 57% (53-of-93) from the field and 47.9% (23-of-48) from downtown. They once again controlled the inside game outscoring the Wolves 58-38 in the paint. Additionally, the Clippers won the transition game, outworking the Wolves 31-13 on the fast break. In back-to-back matchups, the Clippers dominated the Wolves, outscoring them by a combined 65 points.

The Clippers had six different players score in double-digits, led by Moussa Diabate's 29 points and nine rebounds. Kobe Brown added 22 points on an efficient nine-of-14 shooting while Jordan Miller added another 22 points on six-of-nine shooting. Josh Primo poured in 17 points on five-of-nine three pointers. Coming off the bench, Elijah Harkless added 11 points. In his first game back from injury, Broderick Thomas contributed 10 points on two-of-four three-point shooting.

The Wolves were led by assignee Leonard Miller's 23 points on an impressive nine-of-11 shooting from the field. The Wolves had an additional five players score in double figures including Trevor Keel's 14 points, eight assists, and four rebounds. NBA veteran Lance Stephenson added 14 points while Javonte Cook poured in another 21 points on 4-of-8 three-point shooting. Coming off the bench, Tyrese Martin added 15 points and Giorgi Bezhanishvili had a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
