BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Squadron topped the visiting Greensboro Swarm, 110-96, Friday night at Legacy Arena at the BJCC on the back of Malcolm Hill's 29 points.
Hill, the league's leading scorer on the season, shot 10-of-17 from the field, including 4-of-10 from behind the arc. Two-way guard Dereon Seabron recorded a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Jalen Crutcher scored 17.
Birmingham (13-13) is now 5-1 since the All-Star Break and outscored the Swarm (11-15) in the paint 58-36 and 18-5 in fast break points.
Amari Bailey's 25 paced the Swarm offensively and Jaylen Sims scored 17 off the bench to go along with 10 rebounds for a double-double.
Birmingham returns to the floor at Legacy Arena at the BJCC for a 3 p.m. tip-off against the Long Island Nets. The game will be broadcasted locally on My68 and nationally on NBAGLeague.com.
