College Park Falls in Overtime to Osceola Magic 112-120 in First Game of a Back-To-Back

College Park, Georgia. - The College Park Skyhawks (15-12) fell to the Osceola Magic (15-8) 120-112 in overtime in the first game of a back-to-back against the Magic.

Chris Silva posted his 10th 20-point, 10-rebound game of the season, notching a near triple-double of 20 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists in 36 minutes.

Tyson Etienne joined Silva with 20+ points, netting a career-high 24 points on 10-19 shooting from the field and 4-10 from deep. Etienne also collected six assists, three rebounds, and two steals in 43 minutes.

Four other Skyhawks scored in double figures with Rob Baker and Brandon Randolph pouring in 19 and 14 points each off the bench, while Jordan Bowden and Miles Norris netted 13 and 12 points, respectively.

In a game that saw 13 ties and 15 lead changes, no team held more than an eight-point lead throughout the contest.

Delaware opened the first quarter with a 31-23 lead behind scoring spurts from Jett Howard and Trevelin Queen, before the Skyhawks went on a 14-2 run from 6:05-2:40 in the second quarter, eventually taking a 57-54 lead heading into the half.

The third quarter saw more back and forth action before the Skyhawks broke open a seven-point lead to head into the final quarter, 83-76.

Led by Mac McClung who tallied 14 fourth quarter points, Osceola would rally and take the lead in the final minute, holding a five-point lead with 11 seconds remaining.

Down by three points with four seconds to go in regulation, a pair of missed Osceola free throws led to an Etienne buzzer-beating, game-tying triple from 27 feet to send the Skyhawks into their second overtime game in two weeks.

Osceola poured in a quick pair of three-pointers from Daeqwon Plowden and Queen before McClung made the game-winning layup to hit the target score of 119.

McClung posted a game-high 36 points for Osceola, his sixth 30-point outing of the season, while Queen collected 25 points and five rebounds.

The Skyhawks hold a 15-12 record in the final month of the regular season, sitting in a tie for sixth place in the East. There are seven games remaining in the regular season with four at home in College Park.
