Clinton LumberKings News Release

Clinton, IA - Sunday's game between the Clinton LumberKings and Fort Wayne TinCaps has been cancelled. The game will not be made up because Clinton and Fort Wayne do not meet for the rest of the 2014 regular season.

The LumberKings and TinCaps split two games with Clinton winning game 7-1 Friday night before dropping Saturday's matinee in 11 innings, 6-4.

Clinton hits the road later this evening for a six-game road trip. The LumberKings square off with the Dayton Dragons for three games beginning Monday. Following Wednesday night's game against the Dragons, the L'Kings travel to Bowling Green, KY for a three-game set with the Hot Rods.

Right-hander Tommy Burns (0-1, 54.00) takes the mound in Dayton tomorrow night for his second MWL start.

Fans can hear all six road games aired on WCCI 100.3 FM and online at both wcciradio.com and lumberkings.com.
