PEORIA, IL- The Sunday afternoon game between the Peoria Chiefs and Bowling Green Hot Rods has been cancelled due to rain. Since the two teams do not play again in 2014, the game will not be made up with the Chiefs (5-4) sweeping a now two-game series from the Hot Rods (2-7).

The Chiefs are expected to start Sunday's scheduled starter Alex Reyes (1-0, 0.00) against the Captains with the rotation all being pushed back one day. The Captains are scheduled to start LH Luis Lugo (0-1, 9.82) assuming they are able to play Sunday afternoon in Kane County.
