Frederick Keys outfielder Woody Cliffords was named to the Carolina League season-ending All-Star Team on Tuesday, August 27 as a utility outfielder.

A native of West Hills, CA, Cliffords is currently batting .284 with eight home runs and 44 RBI for the season. Zack Greinke was named the Pitcher of the Year after posting an 11-1 mark with a 1.14 ERA before being called up on July 5. Lynchburg's Dave Clark took home Manager of the Year honors by leading the Hillcats to a Northern Division First Half title and coaching the Carolina League All-Stars to a 5-3 victory over the California League.

Voting for the year-end All-Star team was conducted by Carolina League managers, general managers and media. Cliffords is the only Keys player to make the season-ending All-Star Team in 2003.
