CLEVELAND MONSTERS PARTICIPATE IN "MOVEMBER" FOR 7TH YEAR IN A ROW
November 7, 2017 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Cleveland Monsters News Release
CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Monsters announced Tuesday that the organization is once again teaming up with the Movember Foundation to raise funds and awareness in the fight against men's health issues, most notably prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. The team has had several player and front office participants over the last six seasons and have raised over $15,000 for the cause.
During the month of November, fans are encouraged to join in support of men's health issues by visiting the Cleveland Monsters' Movember online team page at clevelandmonsters.com/movember, where they can donate directly to their favorite players' accounts, or join the team and start fundraising themselves.
Fans in attendance at any November game can also stop by the Monsters Community Fund table at Section 128 on the concourse to participate in special jersey and memorabilia auctions and raffles in support of the players' Movember efforts.
Fundraising efforts will culminate with "Movember Night" as the Monsters take on the Texas Stars on Saturday, November 25th at 7:00 pm at The Q where fans will have the opportunity to support the cause through auctions and special raffles.
Below is the list of participants for this year's Monsters Movember team that will look to hit this year's fundraising goal of $10,000: Canton, Ohio at the Canton Civic Center.
