KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, have promoted infielder Cleuluis Rondon to Class A-Advanced Winston-Salem. In a corresponding move, infielder Grant Massey - who opened the 2016 season with the Intimidators - has been transferred back to Kannapolis. In 11 games with Kannapolis, Rondon hit .243 (9-37) with three doubles, a triple, and seven RBI while playing both shortstop and second base. He returns to the Dash where he opened this season with 16 games in the Carolina League.

Massey, 23, appeared in six games with Winston-Salem since earning a promotion in late April. He hit .158 (3-19) with two RBI. He returns to the Intimidators where he hit .300 (21-70) with seven doubles, three RBI, and 11 runs scored in 18 games in the South Atlantic League.

The Intimidators are home today for a Mother's Day matinee at 2:05 p.m. against the Lakewood BlueClaws (A, Phillies) with gates opening at 1:00 p.m. Sunday's game is also Kid's Day presented by Cornerstone Church featuring pre-game player autographs and post-game kids (and moms today) run the bases.
