
Citizens Bank Kids Run The Show Winners Announced

Manchester, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, and Citizens Bank are excited to reveal the winners' names in the second Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show during the 2009 season, scheduled for Thursday, August 27, at Merchantsauto.com Stadium. Twelve lucky kids, ages 6-16, have been awarded the opportunity to run the stadium for the Fisher Cats/Harrisburg Senators 7:05pm game, serving as general manager, radio broadcaster, public address announcer, sportswriter and more.
"We anticipate another fun-filled night where we, as a staff, get to share our game day duties with so many excited young kids eager to help us put on a great show, and we thank our valued partners at Citizens Bank for helping us bring back this popular promotion for a second time this summer," said Fisher Cats President/General Manager Rick Brenner.
The 12 winners were selected from more than 200 kids who signed up online at www.nhfishercats.com. The inaugural Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show night on Saturday, June 6, drew more than 300 applicants.
"We are thrilled to offer this unique opportunity for 12 lucky kids to go behind the scenes with the Fisher Cats," said Cathleen A. Schmidt, president, Citizens Bank. "We wish all of the participants the best of luck performing their assigned duties, I am confident the ballpark will be run just as smoothly as ever."
By being selected to participate in the Citizens Bank Kids Run the Show, the 12 winners will receive free tickets for that night's game for their families. The night will be capped off by an Atlas Fireworks Show. For tickets, visit www.nhfishercats.com or call (603) 641-2005.

The Fisher Cats open a three-game series against the Connecticut Defenders at Merchantsauto.com Stadium tonight at 7:05pm. It will be Halloween Night, with kids getting the opportunity to trick-or-treat throughout the stadium, and prizes will be awarded for some of the top costumes.
