Overview: The Ducks play the second game of a current five-game road trip (1-0-0-0) as they face the Americans in the first of eight meetings this season. The Ducks snapped a seven-game winless streak (0-4-2-1) and six-game road winless streak (0-2-3-1) with a 3-1 win December 18 at Syracuse. RW Cory Pecker has a three-game point streak (2-1-3). G Jean-Francois Damphousse has a 2.07 GAA and .927 SV% in his last five appearances. Rochester is unbeaten in its last eight games (6-0-2-0) and lead Cincinnati by two points for second place in the Central Division. G Ryan Miller, rated the second-best NHL prospect according to The Hockey News' Future Watch 2002, has a current seven-game unbeaten streak (6-0-1).
