
Saint John Airport Teams Up with Flames to Welcome Home Holiday Travelers

SAINT JOHN, NB â The Saint John Airport has teamed up with the Saint John Flames to greet travellers as they touch down in the Port City for the holidays.
As part of the Flames Home For The Holidays promotion, Flames players and team mascot, Fleaburn, will greet arriving travellers as they enter the Saint John Airport the afternoon of Monday, December 23. Flames players will be handing out tickets for upcoming holiday season games to the passengers compliments of the Saint John Airport.
"We consider our players ambassadors of the Greater Saint John area and are excited to greet passengers as they enter our city for the holidays", said Flames Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Stew MacDonald. "We are more than happy to share in the airport's enthusiasm as we enter the Christmas season.
"We also applaud John Buchanan and his staff for the incredible job they have done upgrading the airport", continued McDonald. "As frequent fliers, we certainly see and appreciate the dramatic improvements.
The Flames are in action at Harbour Station throughout the holidays. They host Manchester tomorrow, Saturday, December 21, Portland Friday, December 27 and Wednesday, January 1 and Worcester Friday and Saturday, January 3 and 4. Tickets for these game and all remaining Flames January home games are currently available at the Harbour Station Box Office, the Imperial Theatre Box Office, selected Irving Locations (Main Street West, Champlain Heights, Millidgeville, Marr Road, Hampton and Grand Bay), and Charge-by-Phone at 657-1234 or 1-800-267-2800.

The 2002-03 season marks the Saint John Flames' tenth as a member of the American Hockey League and as the primary development organization of the National Hockey League's Calgary Flames.
