
'Chucks Fall to Wisconsin Rapids in First of Doubleheader

Madison, WIS - The Wisconsin Woodchucks (13-12) fell to the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (17-9), 12-5, at Athletic Park in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Ruben Cardenas (Cal State-Fullerton) and Chad Fleischman (Lamar) both homered in the first two innings - three-run and two-run shots, respectively. For Cardenas, it was his third of the season in just 11 games as a Woodchuck.
Joey Steele (San Francisco) took the loss for the 'Chucks.
Game two of the doubleheader is just underway.
