Christian Transferred To Triple-A Yanks

(TRENTON, NJ) The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees announced today that OF Justin Christian has been transferred to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Christian, 30, played in 37 games for the Thunder in 2010 and hit .255 with 2 HR, 26 RBI and 7 SB. He was signed out of the Atlantic League and sent to Trenton on May 8. This is Christian's third stint with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He played there in parts of 2007 and 2008.

The Thunder travel to Erie to kick off a series with the SeaWolves, starting tonight at 6:00 PM. The two teams will resume play of the May 27 game that was suspended due to rain at Waterfront Park, and then play the regularly scheduled game immediately after.
