
CHL Names Hisey The Sher-Wood/TPS Player Of The Month

It didn't take long for Tulsa Oilers center Rob Hisey to make his mark on the Central Hockey League.
The five-foot-nine, 175 pounder from Oakville, ON needed just 27:25 to score a hat trick in his first CHL game in the Oilers season opening 6-3 win at Mississippi. He continued that roll, with seven goals and five assists for 12 points in just five games.
The CHL has named Hisey the Sher-Wood/TPS Player of the Month for October. Hisey had at least two points in all the Oiler games in October, except one. Highlighting his month was a one goal four assists effort in a 5-4 win over Rapid City on October 27th.
Hisey ended the month earning the CHL's Oakley Player of the Week honor for the week ending November 1st.
The Oilers travel to Texas to play the Brahmas on Saturday at 7:05 p.m. their next home game is Friday November 13th against Rapid City at 7:35 p.m. all Oiler games can be heard on the internet at www.tulsaoilers.com.
