Eagles Introduce "Pay It Forward" Program
November 5, 2009 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Colorado Eagles News Release
WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles formally introduced today a new "Pay It Forward" program that's been in effect since the season began. As a way of giving back to the community in conjunction with this season's theme of "This Is Eagles Country," Eagles players and staff will be out and about all season long "paying it forward."
For each home game the team plays in the regular season, a member of the organization will be traveling to every corner of Eagles Country and giving back to the community and fan base through simple actions -- everything from picking up someone's lunch tab to handing out free team merchandise.
You'll know if you've been "paid forward" if an Eagles player of staff member does a favor for you and hands you a card stating that: The Colorado Eagles are giving back to the community through simple deeds. We encourage you to do the same. Help a neighbor...Pay It Forward!
