
Childers Placed On Disabled List

OTTAWA - Lynx starter Matt Childers was placed on the disabled list today with a sore knee.
Childers, 28, leads the Lynx staff in wins (4) and is second on the team in innings pitched (37.0) and strikeouts (26). His last appearance was his start Monday in Indianapolis, where he allowed five earned runs in two innings of work. He has a career record of 46-64 in 311 career Minor League games and made his Major League debut in 2002 with Milwaukee.
