El Paso Chihuahuas News Release

The Fresno Grizzlies won 4-0 over the El Paso Chihuahuas Saturday night at Southwest University Park, handing El Paso its first shutout loss of the season.

All of Fresno's runs came on home runs. Jake Marisnick's second homer in as many games brought in two runs in the third inning. The Grizzlies then had back-to-back homers in the top of the fourth from Tim Federowicz and A.J. Reed. It was Reed's 13th career home run against the Chihuahuas.

There have been a pair of back-to-back home runs in all three games of the series. El Paso's bullpen was excellent Saturday, as Kyle McGrath, Jonathan Aro and Robert Stock combined for four hitless, shutout innings.
