Goris Gives Chihuahuas First Walk-Off Win of 2018

Diego Goris hit a two-out, two-strike, two-run double in the bottom of the 10th inning Friday to give the El Paso Chihuahuas an 8-7 win over the Fresno Grizzlies. It was El Paso's first walk-off win of the year.

Trailing by a run in the bottom of the ninth, Allen Craig roped an RBI double to score Goris and tie the game. Fresno scored once in the top of the 10th before the Chihuahuas came back to win in the bottom of the 10th. El Paso is now 1-1 in extra-inning games.

Goris went 3-for-5 with four RBIs in the win. Shane Peterson and Goris hit back-to-back home runs in the bottom of the second, El Paso's third set of back-to-back homers this year. Peterson also had a double in the game and has multiple extra-base hits in each of the last two games.
