Chiefs Weather the Storm in Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio-- Dominic Forget scored twice, including the game-winner in the third, to lead the Johnstown Chiefs past the Toledo Storm, 3-2 Friday night at the Toledo Sports Arena.

Forget registered the lone goal of the first period and snapped a 2-2 tie early in the third, scoring just 24 seconds after Toledo had knotted the score. The effort marked the first two-goal performance for Forget since March 11, 2003. Brent Bilodeau added a goal for Johnstown, which has won four of its last five games.

Dmitri Patzold made 32 saves, including 18 in the opening frame, to Improve his record to 2-0-0. Paul Ballantyne provided a goal and an assist for the Storm, Jimi St. John recorded 28 saves in a losing effort.

The Chiefs are now 31-17-6 on the season and Toledo is 21-27-6.

The Chiefs still have two more games this weekend, both at home. Saturday night the take on Toledo (7:30 p.m.), and Sunday afternoon the Trenton Titans at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are still available by calling 814-536-5156.
