Titans start quick, hang on to beat Bombers 4-3

The Trenton Titans scored three goals in the first 5:44 of an eventual 4-3 victory over the Dayton Bombers at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey Friday night.

The Bombers received goals from ex-Trenton Titan Jason Deskins, Dody Wood, and Miguel Delisle. Chad Theuer recorded two assists for the Bombers in the setback, including one on Wood's first goal as a Dayton Bomber.

Prior to the game, defenseman Nate Kiser and forward Scott Cameron were summoned by the Bombers' American Hockey League affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.

The Bombers' road trip continues tonight in Roanoke against the Express (7:30 p.m./ 7:15 p.m. broadcast time on www.daytonbombers.com in association with www.broadcastmonsters.com). The Bombers will return home Sunday, March 7 vs. Toledo (4:00 p.m.).

BOMBERS' BITES: Chad Theuer has registered the game-winning goal in the last three Dayton Bombers' wins ... Goalie Andrew Penner started his seventh consecutive game on Friday, the most in a row by a Bombers' goaltender this season

After the Bombers' five-game road sequence that began Friday and ends on Saturday, March 6, the Bombers will play seven straight home games and ten of their remaining 13 games on home ice.
