Spokane Chiefs News Release
Spokane, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced on Wednesday that they have signed defenseman Chase Friedt-Mohr to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.
"We're very excited about the steps Chase has made in his development and happy to officially welcome him aboard," said Chiefs general manager Scott Carter.
Friedt-Mohr is a 2003-born rearguard from Prince Albert, Sask., who was the Chiefs' fifth-round (105th overall) pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft. This year with the Prince Albert Mintos of the SMHL (AAA Midget), he has posted seven goals and 18 assists for 25 points in 26 games. He also serves as the Mintos' team captain.
He will join the Chiefs as an Affiliated Player ahead of this weekend's games at Seattle (Saturday) and Everett (Sunday). Friedt-Mohr will wear jersey number six.
