The Regina Pats (7-17-3-0) continue their four-game home stand on Wednesday night when they host the Kamloops Blazers (18-9-2-1). Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. at the Brandt Centre. The Pats are coming off a 3-2 win at home to the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday and are 4-3-1 in their last eight games. The Blazers were in Moose Jaw on Tuesday and fell 5-4 in overtime. Tonight is the lone meeting of the 2019-20 season between Regina and Kamloops, the Pats took their lone meeting a year ago on the road 3-2. The Rebels scored the game's first goal, 4:12 into the first period, off the stick of Josh Tarzwell. The Pats drew even at 14:41 when Austin Pratt tipped in his 11th and sent 2,014 teddy bears flying onto the ice. The game stayed 1-1 after the opening 20 minutes. In the second, the Pats took their first lead 39 seconds in, Drew Englot tipped in his third to make it 2-1. Red Deer tied the game a short time later, but the Pats powerplay responded at 13:28. Ty Kolle snapped in his 11th from the left circle and Regina took a 3-2 lead to the third. Max Paddock did the rest in the third, stopping all 14 shots he faced, and the Pats took the two points in a 3-2 final score.
