December 11, 2019 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Saskatoon Blades News Release
Doors open for our annual Teddy Bear Toss game this Sunday, December 15th, at 3pm with puck drop scheduled for 4pm.
Fans are requested to take note of the following information relevant to the Teddy Bear Toss experience:
Please bring a new or gently used teddy bear / plush toy for donation.
Teddy bears will be available on the concourse from PCL Construction for a minimum donation of $2 to the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.
Teddies must be bagged before being thrown on to the ice with bagging stations being located at all SaskTel Centre entrances.
Please hold onto your bears until the Blades' score their first goal of the night - then let the fur fly!
All teddies collected from the ice will be donated to Children's Wish Foundation Canada plus various charities and school groups in the community.
AND it's a Mosaic Family Skate Day, so be sure to bring your skates to the game as well and catch up with the Blades on SaskTel Centre's ice before they depart for their Christmas Break.
