
Chiefs Kick off Rivalry Double-Header against Ams Friday in Kennewick

Kennewick, Wash. - The Chiefs kick off a rivalry double-header weekend in Kennewick Friday night as they take on the Tri-City Americans. The season series is currently split at 3-3-0-0 with four match-ups between the two clubs remaining. When they last faced each other, it was Spokane who skated to a 5-1 victory at home on February 9 - a game that saw rookie defenseman Nathan Mayes score his first career WHL goal with less than a second remaining in the first period. Dawson Cowan was outstanding in net, stopping all but one of Tri-City's 22 shots.
