Chiefs Fall in A Shootout

Johnstown, PA- The Lexington Men O'War's Marc-Andre Thinel scored with just 2:55 left in regulation to tie the Johnstown Chiefs 4-4 Saturday night at the War Memorial. The Men O'War would win in the shoot out by a score of 3-0.

The Chiefs got two goals from Sam St. Pierre, while Lukas Smital and J.F. Boutin also scored. Lexington got goals from Thinel, Alexandre Mathieu, Mark Smith, and Jay Banach.

Chiefs goaltender Peter Aubry made 24 saves while Men O'War goaltender Mike Smith made 22 saves. The Chiefs were 3 for 6 on the power play, while Lexington was 0 for 6.

The Chiefs are now on 14-19-6 on the season, while Lexington is now 17-16-5.

The Chiefs will travel to Dayton tomorrow to face the Bombers at 6:00 p.m. The Chiefs return home Wednesday night to take on the Toledo Storm at 7:00 p.m. This is the first of four "Wacky Wednesdays." All adult tickets are just $7 and children under 12 get in for just $5. Next weekend the Chiefs are in Peoria for a pair of games Friday and Saturday.
