Chiefs Crush Dayton

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs scored three first period goals and did not look back as they defeated the visiting Dayton Bombers 5-1 Friday night at the War Memorial Arena in front of a crowd of 3,140.

Five different Johnstown players scored as Brent Bilodeau, Shawn Mather, Steve Hildenbrand, Jonathan Tremblay and Matt Reid all scored. Dayton's lone goal came from Tyler Kolarik.

Chiefs goaltender David Cann posted his second win of the season making 25 saves. Dayton goaltender Andrew Penner also made 25 saves.

The Chiefs improve their record to 5-1-5 on the season. Dayton is now 5-7-0.

Thanksgiving weekend will be a busy weekend of hockey at the War Memorial as the Chiefs will play three games in four nights beginning Wednesday when they host the Trenton Titans at 8:00 p.m. The next designated sellout night sponsored by "Your Neighborhood Ford Store," is on Friday November 26th versus the Toledo Storm. The Chiefs will close out the holiday weekend on Saturday November 27th when they face the Long Beach Ice Dogs.
