
Chiefs Back on the Road to Face Kelowna Rockets

Kelowna, B.C. - The Spokane Chiefs are hitting the road this Friday to take on the Kelowna Rockets for the first time this season.
The Chiefs are coming off a dominant 7-3 victory over the rival Tri-City Americans last Saturday, snapping their nine-game losing streak in a game that saw six different skaters score goals: Cade Hayes (2), Ty Cheveldayoff, Carter Streek, Chase Bertholet, Tommaso De Luca and Mac Gross.
Rookie netminder Cooper Michaluk got the start and stopped 39-of-42 shots faced in the win.
Berkly Catton returns to the team this week after playing on Team Canada Red in this month's World U-17 Hockey Challenge. Head Coach Ryan Smith also returns after serving as an assistant coach for Team Canada Red.
