November 18, 2009 - ECHL (ECHL)
Johnstown Chiefs News Release
JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs announced today their upcoming promotions for the end of November and the beginning of December.
With the Thanksgiving Holiday right around the corner, the Chiefs will be in a giving mood, as in giving lots of things away for free! On November 27 the team hosts the defending champion South Carolina Stingrays. That night Auto Palace Nissan and the Tribune Democrat will team up to provide "Blackout T-Shirts" to the first 1,500 fans through the door. All fans are encouraged to wear black to the game, too. The next night the Reading Royals come to town and the Pennsylvania Lottery will be giving away scratch-off tickets to Chiefs fans 18 years old and older.
When the calendar flips to December, Chiefs fans will have a great opportunity to save on tickets when the Chiefs host the Wheeling Nailers with the second of six Wendy's Wednesday Family Four Pack nights. For just $44 families can get four tickets, four hot dogs, four drinks, and four boxes of popcorn, and they can be ordered through the Chiefs' office by calling 814-539-1799. Friday, December 4 will mark the return of the always-popular Cool 101.7 Toy Toss to benefit Toys for Tots. All Chiefs fans are asked to bring a new stuffed animal with them to the game and then toss it onto the ice when the Chiefs score their first goal against Wheeling. The Elmira Jackals will visit on Friday, December 11 and the Chiefs will get back into the giving spirit. Every fan in attendance will be able to get a free Team Schedule Poster.
All upcoming Chiefs games will get under way with the opening faceoff at 7:05 p.m. ET.
Mark your calendars! The Chiefs are back on home ice on Wednesday, November 25 against Reading at 7:05. It will be the Chiefs' first Wendy's Wednesday Family Four Pack of the season. For just $44 families can get four tickets, four hot dogs, four drinks, and four boxes of popcorn, and they can be ordered through the Chiefs' office by calling 814-539-1799. Good seats are still available. For tickets, visit www.ticketmaster.com or the War Memorial Box Office, or to order by phone call 1-800-TICKETMASTER.
