
Chiefs and Cougars Rained Out Tuesday

Peoria, IL- The Peoria Chiefs and Kane County Cougars final game of a two game series was postponed due to rain on Tuesday, April 24 at O'Brien Field. The Chiefs were the only team in the Midwest League that had not lost a home game yet this season.
Peoria will continue their 10 game home stand on Thursday when defending Midwest League champion West Michigan comes to O'Brien Field. The Chiefs will send RHP Rafael Dolis (2-1, 3.21 ERA) to the mound against LHP Duane Barlow (0-1, 4.05 ERA) for the Whitecaps. The game can be heard live starting with the pre-game at 6:15 online at www.peoriachiefs.com or on WOAM 1350.
The game will mark the first of a series of Throwback Thursday's as the team will honor members of the Chiefs over the last 25 years. The first 1500 fans in attendance will receive a Wally Joyner replica jersey T-shirt. Thursday is also Taco Bell Thursday where if the Chiefs score four or more runs fans can redeem their ticket stub for a free taco at participating central Illinois Taco Bell restaurants.
