
Chicago Fire's Chris Rolfe Up For Goal Of The Week

CHICAGO, IL (August 17, 2009) - Chicago Fire Forward Chris Rolfe has earned his first MLS Goal of the Week nomination after scoring his fifth goal and third game-winning-goal of the season this past Sunday against the Kansas City Wizards. Rolfe's goal helped Chicago to win the road match, and the team sits in second place in the Eastern Conference, four points behind the Columbus Crew. Rolfe received a pass from Marco Pappa and dodged Kansas City's Jimmy Conrad and Matt Besler to fire a shot into the goal's right post from 13 yards away.
