WIZARDS PARTNER WITH ROYALS ON TICKET PACKAGE:

The Kansas City Wizards are teaming with the Kansas City Royals to introduce the KC Blue Sports Pack, giving fans a chance to enjoy two fun family-friendly sporting events during the last week of August for only $30. Fans can purchase the KC Blue Sports Pack online at www.royals.com/wizards. For more information, call the Wizards at (913) 387-3400.

The summer ticket package features a Bleacher Ticket at CommunityAmerica Ballpark for the Wizards-Real Salt Lake Major League Soccer contest at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, August 29 and a View Level Infield Ticket at Kauffman Stadium for the Royals-Cleveland Indians 7:10 p.m. CT game on Tuesday, August 25. Each ticket package also includes a Wizards T-shirt and a Royals cap. August 25 at Kauffman Stadium also features the 5th installment of T-Shirt Tuesday for the Royals. The first 20,000 in attendance will receive a powder blue t-shirt with a classic Royals design.

STARTING 11 GIRLS HOST DANCE AND CHEER CLINIC AUGUST 29:

The Kansas City Wizards are hosting Dance and Cheer Night around their MLS match-up with Real Salt Lake August 29. The Starting 11 Girls will lead a Dance and Cheer Clinic for children ages 6-18 that culminates in a halftime performance at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. For just $30, participants receive:

In addition to the KC Blue Sports Pack and Dance and Cheer Night, A limited number of single-game tickets remain available for the match August 29 against Real Salt Lake. Tickets start at just $15 for General Admission seats. Bleacher tickets are still available for $20, as are Stadium Reserved tickets for $25 and All-You-Can-Eat Seats for $35. WIZARDS SUPPORT USA BID FOR FIFA WORLD CUP™ IN 2018 or 2022:

Sunday, the Wizards showed their support for the United States' bid to host the FIFA World Cup in 2018 or 2022 with two new field boards at CommunityAmerica Ballpark. One field board featured the new website launched by the USA Bid Committee: www.GOUSABID.com. The Wizards encouraged all fans to log on to www.GOUSABID.com and sign a petition to show their support for bringing the greatest sporting event in the world back to the United States. The second field board featured the tag line for Kansas City's bid to become a host city should the USA Bid to FIFA be successful. The phrase "The American City" was displayed on the second field board, representing the uniquely American characteristics of Kansas City.

JIMMY CONRAD SHOW AIRS FROM FOX AND HOUND IN OVERLAND PARK THIS MONTH:

The Jimmy Conrad Show, presented by Budweiser, will air Wednesday night on Sports Radio 810 WHB from 7-8 p.m. CT and simulcast online at kcwizards.com. The show will be broadcast live from Fox and Hound in Overland Park, Kan. during the month of August. Fans are encouraged to call in during the show at 913-3-810-810.

In 2009, the Wizards will take registrations from fans at each edition of the Jimmy Conrad Show for month-end drawings. Prizes will include Field Side Reserved tickets, a clinic from a Wizards player, a Football/Futbol double-header package and a VIP Meet & Greet session after a training session. Each fan can enter that month's drawing each time they attend The Jimmy Conrad Show.

The Jimmy Conrad Show will be held at different bars throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. The show will run from 7-8 p.m. CT each week except for a small number of nights when the time will change due to programming conflicts on Sports Radio 810 WHB.

Wizards Interim Head Coach Peter Vermes will join Enrique Morales each Thursday at a new time from 1-2 p.m. CT for the weekly Spanish-language coach's show Zona Wizards on Ke Buena 1480 AM. This week, Spanish-speaking fans are encouraged to listen for a recap of Sunday's 2-0 loss to the Chicago Fire and a look ahead to Saturday's match with the San Jose Earthquakes.
