Cheek, Weber Reassigned to Fort Wayne

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that forward Trevor Cheek and defenseman Will Weber have been reassigned to the club's ECHL affiliate, the Fort Wayne Komets. The pair will join the Komets, the Midwest Division Champions, for the 2016 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

Cheek, 23, has split time between San Antonio and Fort Wayne this season. He's played in 34 games with the Silver and Black, recording four goals and five assists, and has notched 17 goals and eight helpers in 25 games with the Komets.

Weber, 27, has skated in two games with San Antonio this season. In 61 contests with Fort Wayne, he has tallied three goals, eight assists and 99 penalty minutes.
