Checkers Exhibition Game Tickets On Sale Tomorrow

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Checkers vice president of ticket sales, Shawn Lynch, announced today that tickets for the exhibition game on Saturday, October 13th will go on sale tomorrow at the Extreme Ice Center.

The Checkers will take on the Columbia Inferno at 1:30 p.m. at the Extreme Ice Center in Indian Trail, North Carolina. The game will mark the second year the Checkers have held an exhibition game at that location. Tickets can only be purchased at the Extreme Ice Center and not through the Checkers office. The afternoon will include activities for kids and their families and all tickets are just $5.

Saturday's game will be the second of two exhibition games scheduled for Charlotte as the team will visit South Carolina one day earlier for the first preseason contest.

The Extreme Ice Center is the official practice facility of the Charlotte Checkers located at 4705 Indian Trail-Fairview Road, Indian Trail, NC. For questions, please call 704-882-1830.

The Checkers enter their 15th season of play as a member of the ECHL in October 2007. In the team's 14-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 10 times including three consecutive playoff appearances to date. The Checkers will enter their third season of play at St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice at Charlotte Bobcats Arena this fall. Season tickets are on sale now with full-season packages starting at just $399.
