LANCASTER, PA., AUGUST 2, 2014 - Baseball is a great American tradition, passed down from generation to generation. As Lancaster's baseball team, the Barnstormers are proud to have served the families of Lancaster County for the past 10 years. Fans continually point out their family's devotion to the Barnstormers. Many Lancaster natives move to their final resting place wearing their Barnstormers hats or jerseys.
As community leaders, Chip and Chad Snyder, the proprietors of Charles F. Snyder Funeral Homes & Crematory saw the natural connection of Lancaster families with their Barnstormers, inspiring the Snyder's to create the first "Celebration of Life" night in Barnstormer history. The first 2,500 fans who enter the Stadium on Saturday night will receive a keychain-flashlight courtesy of Charles F. Snyder Funeral Homes & Crematory. Immediately following the game on Saturday Night, Chad Snyder with lead a remembrance of loved ones, along with a recognition of all those who have passed on. Chad will have a special reflection for those who served our country in military service. All in attendance will be asked to flash their flashlight in remembrance of those that have passed on.
The Barnstormers' phenomenal fireworks program will commence immediately following the remembrance ceremony.
