Charge Acquire Chance Comanche

CANTON, OH - The Canton Charge have acquired forward Chance Comanche in a trade with the Memphis Hustle in exchange for the rights to the Raptors 905's 2019 second-round pick and the returning player rights to Jordan Mathews, the team announced today.

Comanche, (6-10, 210, Arizona), appeared in 45 games for the Hustle during the 2017-18 season, averaging 9.2 points on .589 shooting, 5.7 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 18.3 minutes per game. Following his rookie campaign, Comanche signed with KK Partizan NIS of the Adriatic Basketball League in August.

Comanche played collegiately at the University of Arizona where he averaged 4.6 points and 2.8 rebounds per game from 2015-17, starting two games as a sophomore when he averaged 6.3 points and 3.6 rebounds.

Mathews (6-4, 203), an Atlanta Hawks affiliate player in 2017-18, was acquired in exchange for forward Billy Preston on December 16th. The Charge acquired the Raptors 905's draft pick in exchange for the rights of forward Ramon Harris on October 26th.

The group also owns and operates the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League, who play their games at Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland.
