RECAP: Mad Ants Take Control of Kings, Move Back into Central Division Lead

Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Mad Ants (12-11) defeated the Stockton Kings (12-9), 122-108, at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum on Monday night.

Indiana Pacers two-way guard Edmond Sumner led the Mad Ants with his second 30-point game of the season on 12-of-17 shooting.

Seven Mad Ants players finished in double figures on the night, including another double-double performance from Alize Johnson. The Pacers assignee ended with 19 points and 14 rebounds.

Stephan Hicks knocked down two free throws to begin the second quarter, which gave Fort Wayne the lead. The Mad Ants never surrendered the advantage for the rest of the game.

Hicks rounded out his night with eight points and eight rebounds.

After being assigned from Indiana this morning, Ike Anigbogu finished with 13 points and a career-high 18 rebounds.

Pacers two-way guard Davon Reed was the other starter to finish in double figures with 14 points. Reed grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists.

Tra-Deon Hollins, Rob Gray and Omari Johnson were the three remaining Mad Ants players to end the night in double figures.

Troy Williams led Stockton off the bench with 21 points and four rebounds in just over 26 minutes of action. Wenyen Gabriel led the Kings on the glass with 14 rebounds.

The Mad Ants return home on Friday night to take on Erie, while Stockton will head home to take on Sioux Falls on Friday as well.
