SOUTHAVEN, MS - The Canton Charge (8-13), powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 117-107 victory over the Memphis Hustle (14-10) at the Landers Center on Monday night.
Six Canton players scored in double figures, led by Levi Randolph's 23 points on 10-of-18 from the field with two steals in 35 minutes off the bench. Bonzie Colson posted his eighth double-double of the season with 18 points, 12 boards and three blocks in 23 minutes. After spending the 2017-18 season with Memphis, Kobi Simmons returned tonight to post 17 points and eight rebounds in 32 minutes. Malik Newman netted 12 points in his Charge debut of 18 minutes off the bench.
The Hustle were paced by Kyle Casey's double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds in 33 minutes. Markel Crawford and Tarik Phillip each also scored 16 points apiece for the Hustle.
The Charge continue their road trip with a visit to the Iowa Wolves on Wednesday, January 9th at 8:00 p.m. (TV: ESPN+).
