WILFRIED NANCY
"Today, we had to win the game, but we tied 0-0. Only one goal was missing, but I'm happy and proud of the players. Columbus was tired because we played well. We had 20 shots, but we have to be calmer in the box. I had a good discussion with Hamdi. I didn't want to go too quick with him. He did what he does in training. He is capable to bring some fluidity to our game. He played around 30 minutes, but it's positive for the future."
AMAR SEJDIC
"In the first half we had good control of the tempo. In midfield, we were able to find players between the lines. We could have held the ball a bit longer, but overall, as a unit, it was a solid performance. Columbus' positional play is very good. They like to keep the ball. On our end, we took 20 shots and only three on target. We need to improve on this individually and as a group. At the end of the day, it's a point taken. It was a tough game, and it was very hot. The coaching staff has done really well this season in enabling the team to play how we want it to play."
KAMAL MILLER
"I feel like we executed the defensive plan perfectly. Not only the did the backline do well, but the guys in the middle were very good and made it easy for us. Now we got the clean sheet that we have been looking for. We know that our movement with the ball creates more time for the midfielder, so a couple of times I went forward with the ball and was able to find the midfielders in those pockets. I think it is a confidence booster for sure. We spoke about this and every game we play we don't see ourselves as an underdog. We just got to keep it going. Every point counts."
