
Celebrate Father's Day with the Baysox

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today a Father's Day Celebration at Prince George's Stadium, Sunday, June 15, as the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 2:05 p.m. Bring the whole family out to celebrate dad and take advantage of the first opportunity this season to Meet the Team and play catch on the field before the game.
Starting at 12:30 p.m., fans will be able to go down into the outfield to play catch. Access to the field is free for all fans who have purchased a ticket to the game. Baysox players and coaches will also be available around the concourse to sign autographs and pose for pictures for 45 minutes. Baysox pitching coach Blaine Beatty and that day's starting pitcher and catcher are not available for autographs.
There will also be a Father's Day picnic held in the Diamond View Restaurant. Stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m. and food is served from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. The buffet includes tossed garden fresh salad, sliced BBQ beef brisket, southern fried chicken, all beef hotdog station, triple cheese macaroni & cheese, homemade corn bread, country chips, homemade cole slaw, and a cookie & and brownie tray. Iced tea, lemonade, and unlimited soft drinks are also included.
Tickets for the Father's Day Picnic are $39 for adults, or $34 for Baysox ticket plan holders, $25 for children (6-12 years), $10 for children (3-5 years), and children 2 and under are free. To ensure there is enough food for everyone, tickets must be ordered by 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 11.
