Carroll Selected for 2019 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game

For the 10th straight season (the longest current streak in the CHL) the Soo Greyhounds will once again be represented at the Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game.

When forty (40) prospects head West to Red Deer, Alberta next month that group will include one Greyhound - JOE CARROLL.

Carroll, a native of Carp ON, is in the midst of his second season with the Hounds.

Just six points shy of his rookie season (2017-18) totals, the 6.03, 195-lb centreman has 4 goals and 8 assists good for 12 points in 29 games played this year.

Originally selected in the 4th Round of the 2017 OHL Priority Selection by the Greyhounds, the 17-year old has went on to participated at the World Under 17 Hockey Challenge, was named the Hounds "Most Improved Player" one season ago, and has continued to pave the way for events such as this game while being among those named to the NHL Central Scouting "Player to Watch" list.

He will be one of fifteen (15) participating players from the Ontario Hockey League specifically.
