67's Okhotyuk, Clarke Selected to Participate in Top Prospects Game

OTTAWA - Ottawa 67's defenceman Nikita Okhotyuk and forward Graeme Clarke have been selected to compete in the 2019 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, the CHL announced Thursday.

The two standout teenagers were part of the 40 players selected in the to participate in the 24th annual showcase of the Canadian Hockey League's top prospects available for the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 40 competing players were chosen by NHL clubs and include talent from across the WHL, the Ontario Hockey League, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

Okhotyuk has played 20 games for the Barber Poles this year, putting up four assists. The Chelyabinsk, Russia native was ranked as the 30th best skater in North America that will be available in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft by International Scouting Services (ISS) due to his ability to play a professional and physical game.

In only 22 games played this season, Clarke has scored 10 goals and gathered 5 assists, putting up 15 points before missing some time due to injury. Clarke was selected sixth overall by the 67's in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection Draft.

The 2019 Sherwin-Williams CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game will take place on Wednesday January 23rd, at the ENMAX Centrium, home of the Western Hockey League's Red Deer Rebels.
